How RWP Makes Money
RWP is a for-profit transportation marketplace. Revenue comes from recurring driver membership fees — not from a cut of driver fares or tips. Drivers pay a flat monthly fee for access to the platform, and everything they earn on a ride — fare and tip — is theirs to keep, minus only standard Stripe payment-processing fees.
Membership is tiered, and each tier carries a monthly earnings cap. As a driver’s earnings approach their tier’s cap, upgrading to the next tier raises that ceiling — a built-in incentive to grow with the platform instead of hitting a wall.
This model is built to scale: RWP’s revenue grows with the size of the driver network, not with a shrinking share of each individual ride.

Why It's Different
Most rideshare platforms take a percentage of every fare before a driver ever sees their earnings — often a significant one. RWP doesn’t. RWP takes no percentage or commission from driver fares or tips, ever.
Instead, drivers pay a predictable, recurring membership fee and keep everything they earn on every ride. Membership tiers and earnings caps mean a driver’s cost is fixed and known in advance, while their upside grows as they do.
Safety & Trust
Every ride on RWP includes a flat $3 Safety & Security Fee, shown upfront before you book. This fee supports insurance coverage and future safety upgrades across the platform.
All RWP drivers complete a background check through DISA, a third-party background-check provider. Drivers cover the cost of their own background check, and DISA sends the completed report directly to RWP as part of the driver approval process.
Membership Tiers
Every tier keeps the same deal: no commission, no percentage of your fares or tips — ever. The only difference between tiers is your monthly earnings cap.

Our Partnership with Mu Beta Phi
Rides With Purpose has a signed partnership agreement with Mu Beta Phi Military Fraternity, Inc., a veteran-focused organization and RWP’s donation partner in the fight against veteran homelessness. Riders and drivers can choose to give back with every ride, donating 1%, 2.5%, or 5% of their fare — in addition to their fare, never out of it — directly to Mu Beta Phi.
This partnership is one of the ways RWP builds purpose into a real transportation business — not the reason the business exists.
